So to finish the job in style, choose THIS carpet to tile transition strip above all others

Fitting
When fitting carpet to tile, nine times out of ten the tile will be higher, and in some cases quite a step can be the result, this clever ramp solves that problem
With the use of carpet shims on the higher transitions, you can accommodate height changes of up to 36mm depending on carpet thickness
Below is a list of examples depending on your height change, this is just a guide as carpets are different thicknesses, we have used an average carpet thickness of 9mm
You will need to adjust this depending on your carpet thickness, but you can use these examples to work out your own requirements
If your carpet is not 9mm, and you need help working out what you need, we would love to hear from you, we would be happy to work it out for you, please call 01383 669190 option 2
- 21mm height difference use: no shim required, 7mm gripper, 9mm carpet, 5mm threshold
- 22mm to 27mm height difference use: 6mm shim, 7mm gripper, 9mm carpet, 5mm threshold
- 28mm to 30mm height difference use: 9mm shim, 7mm gripper, 9mm carpet, 5mm threshold
- 31mm to 33mm height difference use: 12mm shim, 7mm gripper, 9mm carpet, 5mm threshold
- 34mm to 36mm height difference use: 15mm shim, 7mm gripper, 9mm carpet, 5mm threshold
You will need to order your Carpet Shim separately.
(If you have less than a 21mm height difference, then use the Carpet to Tile Threshold)
The video below shows a detailed fitting of this trim to a wood floor, but this could also be ceramic tiles
For the example in this video, we had a height difference of 34mm using a 9mm carpet with the 15mm shim to overcome the problem
This trim is also great if your carpet has already been laid, as it can be retro fitted by simply sticking it to your tiled flooring.

Delivery is normally 3-4 working days.
If the delivery date is critical, please contact us for an estimated delivery date.
Care and Maintenance
PLEASE NOTE, ALL BRASS FINISHES ARE ‘LIVING’ FINISHES, WHICH MEANS THAT THEY WILL REACT TO THE ENVIRONMENT.
YOU NEED TO AVOID CONTACT WITH WATER/MOISTURE.
ANY WATER/MOISTURE WILL CREATE MARKS THAT OXIDIZE FASTER, AND THIS MAKES IT VERY HARD TO REMOVE WITH THE ABOVE CLEANING METHODS.
ANY CLEANING PRODUCTS WILL DAMAGE THE ABOVE TRIMS, SO PLEASE FOLLOW THE GUIDES BELOW
Polished Brass
Our Polished Brass profiles are designed to age for a natural finish over time. However, if you want the profiles to stay highly polished, then you will be required to clean them with a suitable metal polish and a soft cloth on occasion. Please protect your flooring on both sides when polishing trims.
Satin Brass
To clean, simply wipe with a dry duster. Any small marks or scuffs can be removed by simply using the green side of your dish sponge. Simply start one end of the trim and continue all the way all the profile. Please note, the sponge needs to be bone dry. Do not use any liquids to clean this finish.
Antique Bronze
To clean, simply wipe with a dry duster. Heavily soiled spots can be cleaned with a damp cloth, but must be dried immediately.
