Vinyl Flooring Edging Strip
Are you looking for the best way to finish off your LVT flooring? Quality Carpet Trims has the answer!
There’s no need for bulky beading or scotia strips or messy mastic.
Instead, use the very attractive and discreet vinyl flooring edging strip for LVT
For use with 2-3mm thick floating LVT floors with a minimum thickness of 2mm
This aluminium strip is self-adhesive and very easy to fit to your skirting or patio door edges
It comes in 180cm lengths which can be butted together on longer walls
The cleaver design allows you to put a thin strip of your LVT in to the trim, therefore making a stunning feature of your flooring edges with the tramline design.
Once fitted, you’ll have a designer floor which you can be very proud of!
The Profile
The base material is a high quality aluminium
The recess is 3mm thick and 10mm wide, this is where you place a strip of your flooring
The clever self-adhesive vinyl edge trim is designed to allow up to 12mm’s of expansion for your floors
It comes supplied with pre-attached heat and moisture resistant adhesive tape for fixing
Choose from 4 colours to best complement your flooring

Vinyl Flooring Edging Strip Fitting
Designed to be adhered to pre-prepared/painted skirting boards
Clean/degrease the surface prior to adhesion
Cut vinyl flooring edging strip to size, remove recess tape protective surface and insert your flooring inlay into recess
Trim flooring insert to size as required, then install to skirting, making sure to keep the profile flat to the flooring and skirting
Allow for correct expansion as per your flooring manufacturer

Delivery
Our door bars are hand finished to order, therefore production and delivery normally takes 3-5 working days, but can take 7-10 working days during busy periods.
Courier charges
For orders under £100 our delivery charge is £11.94 this is due to the fact that we use thick boxes and tubes to secure your trims, we also attach a timber batten to the longer parcels to help prevent them from damage, these precautions result in a slightly higher shipping price. Plus, cheaper couriers do not take our 180cm and 270cm parcels.

Returns
Returns are excepted within 30 days of delivery only, any returns over 30 days will not be accepted.
The buyer is liable for the return postage charges, unless the return is due to damage or the wrong goods have been sent
Returns charges can be expensive when dealing with long and heavy flooring trims, we suggest getting advice from our flooring experts or ordering a free sample before purchase if you are unsure of colours and sizes

Faulty/Damaged Goods
Customers must check deliveries for damage, if damage is clear and substantial, delivery should be refused.
If damage is discovered after an order has been unpacked images should be taken and immediately sent to sales@qualitycarpettrims.co.uk
Faulty or damaged goods should be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Faulty or damaged goods will either be replaced or refunded as agreed
Grace Matthews trading as Quality Carpet Trims will pay any postage costs related to returning or replacing faulty or damaged goods.
In some cases we may kindly ask you to dispose of damaged or faulty goods

Please be aware that the cheaper couriers do not take our 180cm and 270cm long parcels. this means we are restricted to only a couple of couriers, we do not make profit from the shipping charge, these are actual costs, we hope you can undertand and you agree that spending a few extra pounds for well packaged trims and a realiable service is best for all concerened.

**IMPORTANT** When returning trims in their original packaging, please ensure that you put extra packaging tape around the end caps of the tubes to prevent the caps from coming off and trims sliding out. We have had many instances where this has happened, we are unable to claim for this from the carrier, and we are unable to refund trims which do not make it back to us

Care and Maintenance
PLEASE NOTE, ALL BRASS FINISHES ARE ‘LIVING’ FINISHES, WHICH MEANS THAT THEY WILL REACT TO THE ENVIRONMENT.
YOU NEED TO AVOID CONTACT WITH WATER/MOISTURE.
ANY WATER/MOISTURE WILL CREATE MARKS THAT OXIDIZE FASTER, AND THIS MAKES IT VERY HARD TO REMOVE WITH THE ABOVE CLEANING METHODS.
ANY CLEANING PRODUCTS WILL DAMAGE THE ABOVE TRIMS, SO PLEASE FOLLOW THE GUIDES BELOW.
Polished Brass
Our Polished Brass profiles are designed to age for a natural finish over time. However, if you want the profiles to stay highly polished, then you will be required to clean them with a suitable metal polish and a soft cloth on occasion. Please protect your flooring on both sides when polishing trims.
Satin Brass
To clean, simply wipe with a dry duster. Any small marks or scuffs can be removed by simply using the green side of your dish sponge. Simply start one end of the trim and continue all the way all the profile. Please note, the sponge needs to be bone dry. Do not use any liquids to clean this finish.
Antique Bronze
To clean, simply wipe with a dry duster. Heavily soiled spots can be cleaned with a damp cloth, but must be dried immediately.
Antique Brass
To clean, simply wipe with a dry duster. Heavily soiled spots can be cleaned with a damp cloth, but must be dried immediately. For the Antique Brass, if you do feel that you want to refresh the trims, you could try Corstons Antique Brass Restoration Kit.
Chrome, Brushed Chrome, Satin Nickel, Polished Nickel, Pewter and Black
To clean, simply wipe with a dry duster.
