The Stair Nosing Laminate is designed to be used for your top stair only

Many customers faced the problem of having great looking laminate flooring fitted on their landings. But they could not finish the laminate on the top stair where it meets the carpet

This trim solves this problem and has helped thousands of customers finish the job in style!

It’s designed for use with 7mm or 8mm laminate flooring, particularly where you have laminate on your landing but have carpet on the remaining stairs.

Fitting Made Easy

This stair nosing for laminate flooring comes to you predrilled and counter sunk, making it much easier to fit

We send the trim with a plywood strip which can be used to raise the trim if needed, for example if you have a thick underlay under your laminate flooring (see images)

We even supply the self-tapping wood screws, so there is no need to predrill just, screw in the supplied screws and you are done

For the best results, we recommend (not essential) that you place a carpet shim or carpet shims, behind your carpet and stick the carpet to this with a spray glue.

You will need to work out how many shims are required depending on how much the bull nose sticks out

If you do not use a carpet shim you will simply need to secure your carpet in place using another method, i.e. carpet tacks or staples

Using a shim not only secures the carpet, but it also maintains the water fall effect of the carpet, giving you a great finish

Delivery

Our door bars are hand finished to order, therefore production and delivery normally takes 3-5 working days, but can take 7-10 working days during busy periods.

Courier charges

For orders under £75 our delivery charge is £8.99, this is due to the fact that we use thick boxes and tubes to secure your trims, we also attach a timber batten to the longer parcels to help prevent them from damage, these precautions result in a slightly higher shipping price. Plus, cheaper couriers do not take our 180cm and 270cm parcels.

Returns

Returns are excepted within 30 days of delivery only, any returns over 30 days will not be accepted.

The buyer is liable for the return postage charges, unless the return is due to damage or the wrong goods have been sent

Returns charges can be expensive when dealing with long and heavy flooring trims, we suggest getting advice from our flooring experts or ordering a free sample before purchase if you are unsure of colours and sizes

Faulty/Damaged Goods

Customers must check deliveries for damage, if damage is clear and substantial, delivery should be refused.

If damage is discovered after an order has been unpacked, images should be taken and immediately sent to sales@qualitycarpettrims.co.uk

Faulty or damaged goods should be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Faulty or damaged goods will either be replaced or refunded as agreed

Grace Matthews trading as Quality Carpet Trims will pay any postage costs related to returning or replacing faulty or damaged goods.

In some cases, we may kindly ask you to dispose of damaged or faulty goods
