This trim is specifically designed for use with LVT or vinyl which is 2 mm 2.5 mm or 3 mm thick

The LVT is cut into the bullnose part of the trim, which gives you the stunning matching finish you see in the images

Please note that the trims are priced pro rata, meaning there is no price difference depending on the length you choose, the 270cm trim costs the same as 3 x 90cm trims, however, the 90cm trims usually arrive slightly quicker and are easier to handle.

• Stair Nosing For Vinyl & LVT is ideal for 2mm, 2.5mm, or 3mm luxury vinyl, installed on 6mm plywood-covered stairs.
• Suitable for most if not all luxury vinyl tile brands, in both dry back and glue-down, including Karndean and Amtico.
• They are manufactured in aluminium, in a choice of four metal finishes: Chrome (polished), Polished Brass, Antique Brass, and Black.
• Each section of the LVT Nosing is pre-drilled and countersunk for the fixing screws (supplied).
• No screws or fixings are visible once fitted
• Available in 3 lengths for cutting to size: 900mm, 1800mm, and 2700mm.

For orders under £75 our delivery charge is £8.99, this is due to the fact that we use thick boxes and tubes to secure your trims, we also attach a timber batten to the longer parcels to help prevent them from damage, these precautions result in a slightly higher shipping price.

Delivery is normally 3-5 working days, however it can take 7-10 working day during busy periods

Fitting Tips

• To ensure a safe and smart installation, we recommend that a proficient flooring fitter installs stair nosings. The NICF (National Institute of Carpet and Floor layers) can advise on professional fitters in your area.
• Secondary fix each trim using a propriety adhesive such as Stycco Flex. Then, screw onto the tread using the supplied screws, starting in the middle.
• Measure the circumference of the nosing and create a template, before cutting the nosings from your LVT by scoring and then bevelling the edges. Typically, the template nosing dimension will be 53mm wide.
• Peel off the tape and fix the vinyl inlay into the nosing. Warming up the vinyl can help this process. It is best to first feed it into the bottom channel and then stick it down into the top channel.
• These stair-nosing profiles are 9mm in height and designed to accommodate 6mm plywood on each step, up to 3mm of LVT, and a 0.5mm glue line.
