The product
This flooring trim is part of our premier trims range
The premier trims range is made from a base material of high-quality solid brass
Therefore, the trims are durable and won’t easily bend or dent, which is important, especially in the case of a matwell, as this is a high traffic area
This Matwell frame is available in two heights, 5 mm and 8 mm, depending on your mat thickness
Choose from 10 colours and shades to suit your home perfectly
Please note that the trims are priced pro rata, meaning there is no price difference depending on the length you choose, the 270cm trim costs the same as 3 x 90cm trims, however, the 90cm trims usually arrive slightly quicker and are easier to handle.
Fitting Matwell Frame
Ideally, you would have a cut-out of your flooring to create a well, however, this is not always possible and is not essential.
By creating a ‘well’ you have better depth in which to fit your matting, but as mentioned if this is not possible, it’s not a problem, just fit your matting and the trim on top of your existing flooring.
If you are at all unsure about fitting this matwell frame trim, we are always available to talk, either by email or telephone, we would be more than happy to help

Spend £60 for free delivery
For orders under £60 our delivery charge is £9.98, this is due to the fact that we use thick boxes and tubes to secure your trims, we also attached a timber batten to the longer parcels to help prevent them from damage, these precautions result in a slightly higher shipping price.
Delivery is normally 3-5 working days, however it can take 7-10 working day during busy periods

Remove spills immediately to limit corrosion with white vinegar. Brass will tarnish over time and we recommend a polishing cloth such as HG copper shine cloth available from most DIY stores. Avoid contact with floor coverings.
Should corrosion appear, we use this finishing pad, Mirka Total Finishing pad P1500 (grey). Rub the area to remove contamination and buff up with HG copper shine cloth.
